Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana plan to open a new beauty salon in West London

The world famous television chef is said to be branching out by making preparations to open a beauty salon close to his family home in West London. The salon, which will reportedly be called ‘It’s All About The Girl’, will offer manicures, pedicures, tanning and waxing treatments.

Ramsay is known for his fiery temper in the kitchen, and has a successful TV series called Hell’s Kitchen. He also has a string of restaurants, however his recent ventures may suggest that the star is looking to expand his portfolio and bring in some more cash – he recently did a stint on US shopping channel QVC to promote his range of kitchen equipment leading many to speculate that the star may be in financial difficulty.

Gordon’s wife Tana, who has the full support of her close friends David and Victoria Beckham, however, will largely run the Ramsay’s latest venture and is optimistic that the project will be a huge success. Victoria Beckham’s management are located directly opposite the site so she will be able to pop in and offer her close friend plenty of support when she is in London.

Gordon Ramsay’s business empire is said to be suffering financially after a number of hiccups. He had to pay off a tax debt in 2009 relating to his Plane Food restaurant at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 and recently had to close two eateries in Australia - Maze and Maze Grill in Melbourne’s Crown Metropol Hotel.

Further troubles include a £1.1million court battle in New Zealand after pulling out of a number of charity engagements, citing personal reasons. Ramsay is also embroiled in a public split with business partner, and father-in-law, Chris Hutcheson. The pair went their separate way after Ramsay accused Hutcheson of taking money out of parent company Gordon Ramsay Holdings (GRH).
